This year’s varsity baseball team has a starting record of 2-2 and it’s only the second week of the season. The baseball team’s head coach this season is middle school science teacher Coach Scott Helter. The team suffered two tough losses against Springboro. The Panthers took out their undefeated record. There are a total of 13 students playing this year; four of those boys are graduating seniors Brayten Howard, Alex Buzzard, Trey Johnson and Tyler Wilson.

Most of the home baseball games take place at the high school behind the football and track field. This past Wednesday, their home game was at the Dayton Dragons ballpark, Fifth Third Field. Most games start at 5 p.m. but Saturday games tend to be earlier in the day.
