Donald J. Trump is currently the 45th President of The United States of America, has many policies which are widely regarded as radical, but are they really that different compared to the presidents before him? President Trump is known for having more of an explosive attitude, and we have had presidents like him before but they haven’t been recent.

Most presidents learned to keep their opinions under control and keep their tone more professional but Trump tends to speak whatever is on his mind. Now some might argue that this is a good thing for a president because he’s being truthful, but some may argue it differently and say it can spark unnecessary conflict.

Many people compare Donald Trump to Ronald Reagan, although both are very similar in many ways there are some major differences. Reagan believed that military like weapons had no reason to be in a civilian setting, while Trump believes that guns are an American’s right. While he is correct in this statement, gun violence and misuse of guns has lead to many conflicts in the U.S.

Trump is also more vocal on immigration compared to other presidents. According to presidential-candidates.insidegov.com, “He believes that illegal immigrants with a criminal history should be subject to deportation, but illegal immigrants who come to work or benefit society will not have the fear of deportation.”
