Put yourself in a situation where you have to be responsible for two outrageous and crazy children and drive them somewhere on New Year’s Eve.  A hilarious comedy about one adult that hates kids with a burning passion and has to drive to Vancouver, Canada with two rowdy kids on New Year’s Eve is the movie “Are We There Yet?” on Netflix.

“Are We There Yet?” released in 2005,  is about Nick Persons (Ice Cube) who offers to drive his friend’s (Nia Long) kids to see her while she is at work and out of town for New Year’s Eve.  When Nick starts driving,  he thinks he’s with two normal everyday kids  but they end up being much worse than he anticipated.

The kids Kevin (Phillip Daniel Bolden) and Lindsey (Aleisha Allen) get more outrageous as the road trip continues.  While on the road to Vancouver,  Nick lets the kids know who’s really in charge while on the road.  After all the torture and agony Nick is put through by the kids,  he eventually gets Kevin and Lindsey to see their mom in Vancouver,  Canada.

“Are We There Yet?” is a good laugh out loud comedy.  This movie shows the happiness between individuals on a long road trip together.  This movie is a well-told story with laugh out loud scenes like when Kevin and Lindsey lock Nick out of his car and try to run from him.
