Seniors: Need to Know Info

There are only 47 days left the until seniors walk across the stage while friends and family cheer them on. Seniors have many things to get done before the big day. Below is information on  all the things you need to know:

  • May 1-5: Sign up in room 307 for Small Group Senior Practice. The Small Group will be held on May 17 in the auditorium. Do not interrupt classes to sign up. Seniors must sign up for themselves.
  • Wed. May 3: Senior solo auditions for graduations in the auditorium. It starts at 3:00 p.m. Be there on time, or even 10 minutes early.
  • Thurs. May 4: Senior Signing Day
  • Fri. May 5: Early Prom release. Caps and Gowns will be handed out if all fines and fees are paid in full. If you do not pick up your cap and gown at this time, you will be able to do so after 2:55 p.m. on school days.
  • Fri. May 5: Prom
  • Fri. May 5-Sat. May 6: After Prom
  • Mon. May 15: Honor students, plan to attend the Education Recognition Awards program to receive your awards. The awards will be held in the Senior High Auditorium at 7:00 p.m.
  • Wed. May 17: Senior Exams, 8:00 a.m.
  • Wed. May 17: Small Group Practice for the honors assembly and graduation in the Auditorium. Attendance will be checked each period of practice.
  • Wed. May 17: Senior grades are posted. All credits must be fulfilled and a passing score on all parts of the OGT are required to participate and march in graduations ceremonies.
  • Wed. May 17: Last day of high school forever!!
  • Thurs. May 18: Senior picnic lunch at 11:00 a.m in the courtyard. All graduates will report at 12:00 p.m. for large group practice in the auditorium to rehearse for honors assembly and graduation after the picnic. Seating charts will be issued. Pay all fines and fees before attending.
  • Fri. May 19: Senior breakfast in cafeteria at 7:00 a.m. After senior breakfast, go to the gym to prepare for the honors assembly. All participants will be expected to dress up and wear their cap and gown.
  • Thurs.May 25: Graduation practice at UD Arena at 10 a.m. All graduates are required to come to this practice.  Arrive by 9:45 a.m. The rehearsal will be finished around 12:00-12:30 p.m. Make sure you have a ride there, or you can carpool with your friends.
  • GRADUATION: Arrive by 6:30 p.m. At 7:00 p.m. the lines are formed in assigned order. Around 7:30 p.m. the line moves.
