The 2017 WCHS Talent Show took place in the auditorium Friday, March 24 just in time to welcome Spring Break. Talent show participants showcased their talents for the students, staff, and parents.

Thursday, March 23 was the performance for the parents. Mrs. Tatisha Mays, parent of  junior Tatyana Mays attended the parent night talent show. Mrs. Mays said “All the students had great performances, you can tell they practiced really hard with what they showed tonight.” Mrs. Mays has attended three other talent shows and said this was the best one she has been to so far.

Friday morning was the performance for students. Junior Qua’Muria Brookshire said the talent show overall was fantastic. “All the students did a really good job, they showed a lot of talent,” said Brookshire. Junior Kylee Kieme said the talent show was also one of the best she has attended during her high school years. A cast of over 30 students gave their all during the performances to make the audience laugh, sing along, clap and scream.

The talent show also gave lots of exposure to new WCHS student band “Serenity.”
