Friday, September 22nd, the West Carrollton Pirates lost an away game to the Stebbins Indians. The game was a close game having West Carrollton at 20 over half of the game and Stebbins coming back at the end winning by 3 more points.
This was one of the closest games West Carrollton has had so far during the season. West Carrollton scored in the first quarter scoring 6 points above Stebbins. During this game, there were lots of yelling flags being thrown around during the duration of the game. Second quarter, Stebbins and West Carrollton both scored in the second quarter. Third quarter the bands played their halftime show. West Carrollton made another touchdown at the end of the 3rd quarter. The score going into the fourth quarter was 10/20 with West Carrollton leading. West Carrollton and Stebbins having a good fight fighting each other and pushing each other forward and backward between the yardlines. Stebbins scored again getting past West Carrollton’s defense 16/20. After 2 minutes of no touchdowns, Stebbins made the last touchdown of the game making it 23/20. Stebbins High School ran the timer and the game ended.
West Carrollton’s next game will be at home for their homecoming game. Going against the Piqua Indians. Starting at 7 pm, announcing the Homecoming King and Queen!
