This year at West Carrollton, a new dress code has been put into place by the principal, Mr. White, and the teachers and staff will enforce the code. Students can’t wear shirts that show their stomachs and they need to wear shorts that are longer than fingertip length. Pants must not have holes above the knee. They can not wear things that promote drugs, sex or violence and no hats or hoods unless the headwear is for religious or medical purposes. Pants should not sag and must be above the butt. This code also applies to the teachers. If a student is dress-coded, they will be sent down to the main office and given a change of clothes depending on the type of infraction. They will need to change or call home or sit in the office for the day. The dress code will also apply on spirit weeks unless hats, for example, are a part of the spirit attire.
