This month’s fall play is Canceled, Take Two!! by Ms. McGuff with show dates as soon as Nov 3rd at 7 pm and Nov 4th at 2 pm. The show opens with two stagehands bringing a couch. They believe they are just setting up for rehearsal and have no idea there is a show. A phone rings and they answer it it is someone insisting that there is a show that night and their boyfriend is in the audience. An “audience member” pops up and says they are in fact said boyfriend – at which point the stagehands realize there is a show going on right at that moment! The Boyfriend comes up and starts talking on the phone on stage,the real play begins and the actors are clearly confused.At this point comedy ensues.
