A new year means a new spring musical here at WCHS and this year we are going deep Into the Woods. The story of Into the Woods is centered around a baker and his wife who wish to have a child. A witch who cast a spell on the baker’s family reveals that they would have no children unless they gather some special items. The witch then reveals if they gather the items by the third midnight the baker and his wife may have a child. The baker then embarks on a journey filled with love, hope, agony, and sadness. There’s a new part of the story around every bend and several new faces along the way including: Cinderella, Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood, and a young lad named Jack. But beware, there could be wolves and giants lurking in the woods. Curses are lifted and dreams become reality, but be weary of your wishes, you never know what can happen when going Into the Woods.
