Cynthia Magan, Staff Writer

Leah is a very professional and beautiful women with a fulfilling career. Leah is devastated after her breakup with Dave until she meets a new handsome, intelligent guy named Carter Duncan. Until one night Leah realizes the type of person Carter really is and she does not like what she finds out about him. Carter tries to ruin Leah’s life by doing many tragic things that push Leah to the limit.

The pros about “The Perfect Guy” are that it has good entertainment, the acting was great and who doesn’t like a little romance movie with some conflict in it? Another pro about “The Perfect Guy” is according to sfgate.com, “The Perfect Guy” secured a first place spot with $26.7 million and The Sony/Screen Gems film only cost $12 million to produce. Female audiences helped “The Perfect Guy” get the number one spot. About 90% of audience members were women and 58% over the age of 25.

The cons about this film was some of the scenes played by Michael Ealy (Carter) were quite disturbing. For example when she would go on a walk he was right there when she was out at a restaurant he was right there, putting her toothbrush in his mouth and lastly kissing the wine glass she had used earlier that day. “The Perfect Guy” was a great film but boring in some scenes because the same events repeatedly happened.

I recommend “The Perfect Guy” for females because it’s a very good, detailed movie and it’s more like a chick flick. I don’t recommend males watch the film because it’s more about a female’s perspective, but taking your girlfriend could always be fun! The scenes and characters are performed very well.
