Valentine sent his first “Valentine” to a young girl he fell in love with before his death who would come visit him. At the end of the letter, he wrote “From your Valentine.” This line is still popular today with many people. Valentine’s Day is celebrated in mid-February for the anniversary of Valentine’s death.
