The Box
The winter dance, The Box, will be in the small gym on February 19. It starts at 7 p.m.

Are you a Senior at WCHS who has been wondering when we will have a Winter Dance after not having one for three years? Student Council will be hosting a winter dance at WCHS in the small gym called “The Box” from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. tonight!
At The Box guys should wear white shirts and girls should wear black shirts. The name of the dance was Senior Class President Gracie Johnson’s idea. She picked the name because it fits with the theme and the color scheme of the dance.
According to seniors Chase Bartram and Joey Hwang, this will be a great dance for the whole school because it will give students in all grades a chance to bond. Student Council is estimating that at least 70 people will be at this dance.
According to Bartram and Hwang, the hardest parts about Student Council hosting the winter dance this year has been planning, getting everything together and setting up the dance in the small gym.
If not enough money is made selling tickets for this dance there won’t be a photo booth for pictures at the dance. The music that will be played is Trap music and throwbacks, according to Bartram.
Student Council doesn’t want people from other schools coming because they don’t want a repeat of what happened at the Vibe in 2013. There were severe dress code violations by students and their guests and behavior violations by students and their guests.
