With the start of a new year comes the excitement of homecoming! Schools all across the country are counting down the days, planning out spirit weeks, and voting for homecoming court. Girls begin to shop for the perfect dress and shoes while athletes and musicians prepare for the big game. Here is what you need to know in order to have the best homecoming week!
September 17-21
Voting for homecoming court begins, make sure to vote before September 21 at 3pm through a Google form in your school email.
September 22
The homecoming pep rally takes place on September 22 during 7th period. This pep rally will announce the homecoming court and hold the spirit sword competition.
September 25-28
Homecoming tickets go on sale for $15
September 25-29

Wednesday: Country vs. Country Club

Friday: Blackout
September 28
The annual homecoming parade will be on Thursday at 6pm starting at the ECC, going through the nearby neighborhood, and then ending at the middle school. The parade features floats representing fall sports, each school in the district, nearby organizations, and student-built floats.
September 29
The Homecoming football game is against Piqua, the theme is blackout and the school store is making exclusive blackout shirts to purchase for $13 for Spirit Week and the game.
September 30
Along with the dance on Saturday, the senior sunrise will be taking place at 7am at the high school stadium. Breakfast will be provided, make sure to bring a blanket to sit on.
The homecoming dance will take place at the West Carrollton High School gym from 8-11pm with snacks, refreshments, photo opportunities, and a DJ. The theme of the dance is an enchanted garden.
