On April 19th, the boys and girls track and field teams competed at the Trotwood Invitational track meet. The West Carrollton track team finished in 2nd place. The girls finished in 1st place in the 4X100 meter relay team consisting of Serenity Foster, DeShawna Hogue and Iyanna Thompson-Carson. Avia Pittman also placed in first place for high jump. The boys earned 2nd place. Micheal Towle, Vinny Jensvold, Nicky Jensvold and Derrick Duckworth all set a new personal time for the boys 4X800 relay team. Brandon Foster also broke his own personal record for the boys 400 meter dash. Both the girls and boys track and field team will be competing at Little Miami next Thursday.
