New Points of Interest Coming to WC

West Carrollton has new changes coming to town these next few year around 2023-2026,  ranging from different stores, or medical spots. Near the Interstate of 75 there will be new buildings popping up, sparking new interest, and jobs for people all around, so keep an eye out. Keep up with what’s new.

Twenty-five acres of our land are being used for new things all around. Some new establishments that are coming consist of hotels and medical offices, service retail, and multiple restaurants. A medical office checked at, clothing to get for fashion in today, a place to stay the night, when possibly traveling all around, and a lovely spot to grab a bite with people. These new places will be spread throughout the city of West Carrollton. The places the construction will begin for these new buildings are located just west of the exit 47 on Interstate 75. These buildings will be on East Dixie Drive, Marina Drive, Bowman Land, North Alex Road, and Central Avenue, plus along the riverfront. Places are being built all across our district, providing new buildings, but a little bit of noisy construction  with all these places growing nearby. All these places all so close to our school that, would be possible for students to just pop over there right after, and relax at one of the restaurants, or go shopping. Considering the riverfront is such a big attraction to people all around to visit and have a nice walk, there will be multiple structures coming along the Miami River. Some of the roadways that will have new businesses or upgrades include Marina Drive, East Dixie Drive, and Manchester Road. So for anyone looking for a job, make sure to keep eyes out on new offers coming, and new places to go and spend your evening into town.

Funding is a wonderful thing when it comes to adding facilities to our location. The funding to all these buildings come from multiple sources all around. Our city was able to attract some public dollars thanks to Congressman Turner for one, Montgomery County Commissioners and Phil Plummer in the Ohio legislature. Willing to make a change in our environment, and gather new activities to be excited about. With this comes budget problems with the city, the city’s liability for that budget will be the lesser of what the actual budget is, or $2.5 million, and that is where the construction at risk comes, hoping the budget comes under the price of 2.5million.

The big factor of these establishments being built is that the improvements attract more people. Making the city look more presentable, and friendly. Intentions here of all these public improvements is to create a high class public infrastructure that includes nice sidewalks, landscaping, curb and gutter, mast arms for traffic signals and other improvements that kind of set the tone for everyone’s first impression into the river district.
