The Robotics Club has been a popular after-school program for years. It had recently started back up in January. Multiple students have joined since they started the club again, some from the past and some new. It’s an open opportunity to have hands-on experience with engineering and building. The club is currently working on building a shooter for their competition and also working on a battery charging system for their car motors. Everyone talks about how fun and interesting the Robotics Club is. They meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 5 pm to 8 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 3 pm. Students are always working and learning more about the robots they build for their future competitions. Members of the club say this club is a great time building robots and engines for them. If anyone interested has any questions about joining robotics you can talk to Ms. McGuff in the 300’s or send her a quick email. She’s one of the main people who run the robotics club and she will be able to help with joining. Joining this club is not just for the people who like doing hands-on work and want more engineering knowledge, anyone can join if they want to learn something new or try a new hobby.
