The Addams Family Musical Nears!

Dance rehearsal for “When You’re an Addams”

Brian Sinks

As the WC Addams Family Musical nears closer, pressure builds on everyone working behind it to give the best show possible. Cast members, pit orchestra, stage crew, and the teachers are spending nearly every day after school this month in preparation. This year’s show is a hard production compared to previous years, with immense detail being put in everything from massive set pieces, to every bit of nuance in the smallest lines. Brian Coleman also received a fun new toy to play with, with a commercial level haze/fog machine.

Of course, all this work isn’t for nothing. On April 20th, All students from kindergarten up to high school will be called in to see an abbreviated first act throughout the day. If you enjoy that, you can book tickets for the show Here for opening night on the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. $12 for adults, $10 for students and senior citizens. You can also purchase tickets at the door for $13. However, once it’s sold out, it’s sold out.

Interested in helping out? While many positions have been filled, there’s always more help to be had! You can talk to Brian Coleman in room 30 during advisory, or email him at [email protected] to find out how you can help. He’s mainly looking for spotlight operators, stage crew, and anyone that knows how to hold a screwdriver or paint brush to help finalize set pieces.
